
•Malagasy nationality (mandatory requirement).
•Degree or advanced diploma in forestry, environmental science, geography, natural resource management, or related field.
•Strong interest in climate change mitigation, forest conservation, and community-based natural resource management.
•Practical field experience in forest inventory, ecological monitoring, or community engagement is an advantage.
•Basic understanding of carbon accounting and REDD+ frameworks is desirable (training will be provided).
•Good command of spoken and written French. Basic English desirable.
•Good communication, organization, and team collaboration skills.
•Willingness to work in remote areas and travel extensively within the project zone.
•Communication, organizational, and teamwork skills.
•Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook or Gmail).
Additional Requirements:
•High-quality field data and reporting inputs delivered on time and in alignment with carbon project standards.
•Strengthening community engagement through effective communication and participatory approaches.
•Improved capacity in carbon monitoring practices and project documentation at the field level.
•Enhanced coordination between local field teams and the central NbS technical unit.
