Reporting to the PowerStation Maintenance Manager (Responsable Maintenance), and with day by day functional interaction and communication with the Operations Team.
The PowerStation Electrical Senior Supervisor (Chef électricien) will have an overall focus on the safe and efficient Maintenance of ENELEC’s operating assets at Power Station Site. The base location for this position is at the Power Station, and is primarily day normal shift with occasional night shift duties.
• Compliance with all ENELEC’s Safety Policies, Standards and Procedures
• Carrying out maintenance activities in line with the Work Management Process
• Completing maintenance activities in a timely, competent and cost-effective manner
• Troubleshoot problems with plant equipment
• Participate in Incident Investigations providing expert opinion in areas of expertise
• Provide detailed reports during routine maintenance tasks and unplanned maintenance events
• Assist with the training of new staff members in the maintenance department
• Assist with the supervision of contract support staff ensuring safe work standards are maintained
• Daily collaboration with Operators and Supervisors on plant performance and daily required maintenance schedule
• Provide coverage & support in the absence of the Maintenance Manager
• Other duties as required and commensurate with role and qualifications

Trade Qualified/licenced in electrical discipline or higher
7 years of relevant job experience
Extended knowledge and experience with PC’s and software.
Good knowledge of Diesel Engines
Generation Plants, control systems, automation, and electronic components including WOIS/WISE systems would be well regarded.
Very good knowledge of SACADA, WISE-WOISE, HMI and Diesel-Generator (WARTSILA, MAN, DEUTZ, ROLLS ROYCE, BAUDOUIN, CAT…).
Able to carry out relevant measurements.
