JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
The ones selected shall be able to design the grid connection details and all electrical drawings that are necessary in Madagascar to connect to the grid at the same time prepare and have experience in the full electrical permit
- Electrcial design experience: substations, power plants,transmision lines
- Ensure that installations and applications are in line with customer needs and safety standards
- Collaborate with engineers and technicians to design and apply new system processes
- Perform quality and performance analysis on new and legacy IT systems
- Examine needs, calculate costs and help prepare budgets
- creating electrical drawings for new projects, updating existing drawings as needed, and communicating with clients about changes
- Coordinating with architects, contractors, and other construction professionals to ensure that the design is feasible for the intended purpose
- Performing calculations to determine voltage drop across conductors, transformer capacities, and amperage draw from electrical devices
- Reviewing and revising design plans to ensure compliance with building codes and standards
- Creating electrical schematics and diagrams using computer aided design (CAD) software
- Installing electrical systems in commercial buildings and residential homes, as well as other structures such as ships and airplanes
- Preparing estimates of material costs and labor hours for projects
- Designing electrical control panels, switches, circuit breakers, fuses, junction boxes, transformers, light fixtures, power lines, outlets, and wiring systems
- Developing electrical layouts based on the client’s specifications

- Verbal & written communication skills
- proven expertise as an electrical engineer
- Hands-on experience using design and calculation software
- Understanding of electrical engineering codes and safety standards
- Problem-solving abilities
- Attention to detail
- A degree in Electrical Engineering; MSc is a plus
- Verbal & written English and French communication skills
