Objective:
Performs the role of engineering Coordinator, with the collaboration of Projects Leaders and Project Engineers, based on the specific needs of the projects and tenders. Controls and coordinates all engineering activities ensuring compliance with the budget (hours of engineering and project costs), the contracts’ requests (quality) and the activity execution program (project schedule).

Main Activities and Responsibilities:
As a member of the Department, the activities of the Engineering Coordinator are:

• Prepare and discuss with Proposal Manager, Procurement Manager, the Construction Manager and the Project Control Manager, with the assistance of the project Leaders and project Engineers and with the support of the Head of the Department, either the tender strategy either the project strategy during the execution.

• Ensuring her own technical support to the other company departments either during the bidding activities and the drafting of the necessary project documentation for the tenders, either during the executive phases of the project with the assignment of supply orders and job subcontracts;

• Ensure the overall technical coordination between the various engineering development centers of the project (her internal department, Vendors, Sub-contractors and Partners)

• Define and maintain, coordinating and cooperating with Project Leaders and the support of the Head of the Department, procedures, guidelines and the project technical standards;

• Manage, with the help of Project Leaders and Project Engineers, the budget of hours for the project engineering and tenders;

• Participate in the definition of the project program with the support of the Head of the Department, involving the Project Leaders and guaranteeing congruence and overall feasibility;

• Coordinate the project design review meetings;

• Adopt technical solutions that optimize project costs in compliance with technical contractual requests;

• Control and manage design changes in order to minimize impacts on time and costs project costs;

• Ensure the technical interface with the customer for all design issues that may arise in terms of quality, time and cost.

As a member of the Department, the responsibilities of the Engineering Coordinator are:

• Provide feedback to the Head of Department regarding issues raised from the application of standard work procedures and instructions in order to improve effectiveness and efficiency of the Department;

• Provide feedback to the Head of Department regarding the eventual delays in the activities of the project Leaders and project Engineers that can impact on the project schedule and the tenders’ deadlines;

• Propose recovery solutions for such delays;

• Promote the professional growth of other internal resources of the department, also holding specific training courses if necessary, according to the needs of one's own Department;

- Engineering Knowledge: Strong understanding of engineering principles and practices related to the specific field or industry.

- Project Management: Proficiency in project management methodologies and tools to coordinate engineering projects effectively.

- Technical Software: Familiarity with engineering software and tools relevant to the field, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, MATLAB, or specialized industry-specific software.
