In direct collaboration with an international liaison and the PEV, the Project Manager undertakes the following responsibilities:
● Develops an evidence-based project strategy by collecting and analyzing evidence, aligning it with partner and stakeholder activities in the field.
● Leads a project team across regions by defining roles, tasks, and responsibilities, providing effective guidance, and offering supportive supervision to achieve project goals.
● Ensures successful project implementation by efficiently coordinating activities, resources, and budget, maintaining the quality of activities and adhering to guidelines.
● Builds enduring partnerships with stakeholders at all levels by cultivating collaborative relationships, and coordinating with external scientific partners.
● Collaborates with organizational departments to optimize processes through a digital monitoring plan, ensuring timely budgeting and financial reporting, and fostering a culture of open communication and constructive feedback.

● Education: Advanced degree (master’s or higher) in fields like public health, administration, management, with a medical degree as an asset. Specialized training in vaccinology, health systems, or related qualifications for immunization program management.
● Experience: Over 7 years in international project management, with 3 years focused on immunization programs. In-depth knowledge of Madagascar's health and EPI activities. Proven capacity to oversee large-scale projects. Hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and monitoring projects, including managing multidisciplinary teams. Experience in the Grand Sud, in conceptualizing and implementing innovative tools, and conducting operational research is an asset.
● Soft Skills: Proactive, field-oriented, results-driven with a strong emphasis on team spirit. Fluent in effective communication in Malagasy, French, and English. Effective collaboration with key government, academic, and civil society.
● IT-Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, virtual collaboration tools, document management systems.
