Main duties :
Managing MPBN & MPLS SWITCH/ROUTER/FIREWALL/NTP/DNS
Resolution of trouble tickets raised by NOC / Customer / other Teams
Escalation of complex faults to the next level for support
Liaison with other team to resolve faults / technical issues
Regular routine maintenance checks and operations
Actively participate in equipment acceptance
Signalling traces analysis to resolve faults
Skills :
2-5 years with a university degree in telecommunications or equivalent
Excellent and effective oral and written communication skills (English / French)
In-depth understanding of routing protocols, internal and external
Familiar with common Internet protocols
Advanced knowledge of routers, switches, firewalls, Access Control Lists (ACLs)
Hands-on experience of IP / VOIP network design, implementation and troubleshooting
Detailed understanding of Layer2 and Layer3 VPNs
A strong background in configuring firewalls for both Corporate and ISP services.
Detailed understanding of all aspects of QOS (Traffic Shaping / Policing / Scheduling / Congestion Management and Avoidance).
